clustermode ndmp

ndmpcopy cannot be run from nodeshell or clustershell.

you need a third player to run ndmp from.

Netapp also says you should not backup seperate Vservers!

ndmpclient only sees the node, not the Vserver.

Backing up data on a per-node bases, is what Netapp wants

After a 'volume move' the ndmpclient is not aware of the

volume being moved.

You can ofcourse backup Vserver data from the frontend,

so from the NFS client for example.

system services ndmp modify

system node hardware tape drive show

system node hardware tape library show

when backing up a volume you have to include the

vservername though, because volumenames may be identical

among different vservers.
